Applications are open in 2026 but the EOI page says no EOI draws are currently scheduled. Capped sectors (accommodation and food services, trucking, retail trade) are handled in six intake windows (January, March, May, July, September, November); priority sectors have continuous intake. The Program Selector tool was archived on 2026-01-02.

How the province selects

International Skilled Worker EOI ranked on a 100-point grid with invitations by selection, occupation or sector; employer job-offer routes use sector allocations (priority at least 50%, capped sectors at most 25%).

Key facts

  • An EOI profile stays valid for one year from submission and can be updated to raise the score.
  • Ties on score are broken by Saskatchewan connections, then work experience, then language level.
  • 2026 allocation split: priority sectors at least 50% (about 2,380), capped sectors up to 25% (1,190: accommodation and food 714, trucking 238, retail 238), and the rest other sectors (about 1,191).
  • Unlike 2025, there is no federal rule that a set share of 2026 nominees must be temporary residents.
  • In 2025 Saskatchewan was left with 3,625 nominations after the federal cut, and a pause on job approval form intake ended 2025-03-27.

Initial 2026 allocation. Statistics page shows 2,628 issued (55%) at the date of the last update. Includes at least 750 spots for Saskatchewan post-secondary graduates with job offers in priority sectors.
