Couple CRS Comparison: Who Should Be the Principal Applicant

How it works

Enter both partners. The tool scores the couple twice: Partner A as principal applicant with B as accompanying spouse, then the reverse. It shows each part of the score side by side and which programs the principal would be eligible for in each arrangement.

Common questions

Can either of us be principal applicant?

Only someone who meets an Express Entry program on their own. A higher score with an ineligible principal is not usable.

Can we both keep profiles in the pool?

Yes. Each profile lists the other as accompanying spouse. If either is invited, the family applies together.
