How candidates are selected
Employers submit expressions of interest in the two windows and the territory ranks them against 2026 priorities: regulated health care professionals, rural Yukon employers, and workers who have lived and worked in Yukon 1+ year, Yukon University graduates, Francophones, or holders of a 2024-2025 Temporary Measure Letter of Support (those bypass the EOI). Applications from before July 2026 do not carry over. 2026 intake windows: 2026-01-19 to 2026-01-30 and 2026-07-06 to 2026-07-17 (both now closed; no later window was announced on the pages checked). IRCC allocated a maximum of 282 nominations for 2026.
Location requirement: Job offer from a Yukon employer.
Processing: Territorial application processing of 12 to 14 weeks per the criteria sheet.
