Requirements
- Net worthNet worth of at least $500,000 CAD and liquid assets of at least $300,000 CAD, both verified by a Yukon accounting firm. ↗ yukon.ca
- InvestmentAt least $300,000 CAD in capital investment in the business within the first 2 years. ↗ yukon.ca
- ExperienceAt least 3 years of business management or entrepreneurial experience and 5 years of work experience relevant to the business. ↗ yukon.ca

How candidates are selected
Assessment against a points grid (65 minimum); approved candidates go into a pool for 6 months and receive a 2-year work permit to establish the business.
Location requirement: Must live in Yukon and run the business there.
Processing: Territory says it contacts applicants within 12 to 14 weeks with a decision.
