New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
Employer-supported provincial stream with three pathways: New Brunswick Experience, New Brunswick Graduates and New Brunswick Priority Occupations. The language bar is low (CLB 4) but candidates need a New Brunswick employer and, for most pathways, six months of residence in the province.

- Priority pathwayPriority Occupations pathway: accepted full-time non-seasonal job offer resulting from a government recruitment mission, in a priority occupation, with at least one year of related paid experience and a high school diploma. ↗ gnb.ca
- Sector limitFrom 2026-05-04 New Brunswick Experience invitations were limited to healthcare, education and construction due to limited remaining allocation; from 2026-02-03 accommodation and food services and listed NOCs are excluded. ↗ gnb.ca
How candidates are selected
EOI pool (valid 365 days); Immigration New Brunswick invites candidates by round, targeting sectors and pathways based on labour market needs and allocation. No score is published.
Location requirement: must live in New Brunswick for 6 months (Experience, Graduates); waived for recruitment-mission candidates
Processing: IRCC service standards after nomination: 180 days for Express Entry-linked PNP files and 11 months for non-Express Entry files, excluding provincial time. Immigration New Brunswick says it cannot give processing times for individual applications.
