Express Entry Skilled military recruits category

Who qualifies

Narrow category for foreign skilled military applicants: serving in a recognized foreign military with at least 10 years of continuous service, work experience and training aligned with one of the three listed Canadian Armed Forces NOCs, a Canadian Armed Forces arranged-employment offer (full-time, at least 3 years) from the Canadian Forces Recruiting Group in one of those NOCs, and at least a 2-year post-secondary credential (assessed if obtained outside Canada).

• Be an eligible Foreign Skilled Military Applicant (FSMA).
• Serve in a recognized foreign military with a minimum of 10 years of continuous service.
• Hold an arranged-employment offer from the Canadian Armed Forces (Canadian Forces Recruiting Group) for continuous full-time work in Canada lasting at least 3 years in one of the three listed NOCs.
• Hold at least a 2-year post-secondary credential; foreign credentials need an educational credential assessment.
• Meet all requirements in the instructions for the round.
• Must be in the Express Entry pool, i.e. eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program or Canadian Experience Class.
